If you plan to visit Giverny on your own in 2026, please note that the admission of individual visitors will start at 10 am. It is highly recommanded to book tickets in advance, though they are not refundable nor exchangeable. This way you will avoid the waiting line to buy tickets on site.
For your information, based on my experience the best time to visit Monet’s gardens is 4 pm. Stay until the site closes at 6 pm to enjoy an almost empty place.
